Investigation of AI generated drum & bass. Does it make the cut?
We used one of the newest AI music generation models to see if AI can make drum & bass music as well as the human producers. We edited the structure of the tunes (to make them minimally mixable), but we didn’t alter the raw music — no effects, EQ, normalization, etc. See if they hold up in the mix. We consider the results mixed.
